Hi, I’m Eden.
If there’s one thing I believe about therapy, it’s that it should feel like a conversation—not a one-sided lecture where I just nod while you wonder if you’re oversharing. (Spoiler: You’re not.)
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Pennsylvania, and I've been working in mental health and substance use treatment since 2012. Along the way, I’ve done a bit of everything—one-on-one and group therapy, evaluations, and assessments in inpatient, outpatient, and correctional settings.
In therapy, I take a practical, supportive, and collaborative approach. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), which is just a way of saying we’ll work together to untangle unhelpful thought patterns, shift the ones that aren’t serving you, and find a path forward that actually feels right for you. I won’t tell you what to do, but I will help you figure out what works—without the pressure to “fix” everything all at once.
Outside of therapy, I’m just another person doing my best. I have a knack for turning casual small talk into something meaningful—one minute, we’re talking about the weather (obviously), and the next, we’re deep in conversation about life (and, somehow, family dynamics). I find quiet joy in strolling through flea markets and secondhand shops, imagining the stories behind old things and finding pieces that feel like they belong. That same creativity shows up in my cooking—I never use the same recipe twice, always tweaking and experimenting until it feels just right (or at least close enough).
But more than anything, I value those small, unspoken moments of connection—whether with my family, a friend, or the people I help—when, just for a second, we both remember that none of us have it all figured out. And that’s okay.
If that sounds like the kind of space you need, let’s talk.
